THE ESTATES COURSE

A NEW GOLF EXPERIENCE IN PHOENIX

Arizona’s newest golf course, the Estates Course at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club (formerly the Adobe Course), is now open for play to our Members and the general public. Named after the iconic Biltmore neighborhood which surrounds the property, the Estates Course sits on the original site of the Adobe Course. However, that’s where the similarities end.

Designed by the Lehman Design Group and Scottsdale resident and five-time PGA TOUR champion Tom Lehman, the all-new Estates Course features beautifully contoured fairways, new tee boxes, improved green complexes, and features the addition of white sand bunkers throughout. Crews have also planted over 400 new trees to add more visual appeal while helping better define fairways and playing corridors.

The Estates Course has undergone increases in distance and new slope/rating with hole layout and routing very different from its predecessor. The up-to-date course information is now available on the redesigned Estates Course scorecard. Please click the button below to download/print the scorecard.

Welcome to the New Estates Course

The all-new Estates Course at Arizona Biltmore Golf Club opened in November 2023 after a year-long ground up rebuild on the site of the original Adobe Course. Tom Lehman created the design and managed the project development. He added length, new hole routing and more trees to help better define the playing corridors. New bunkers and bunker sand, redesigned greens and additional combination tee options round out the significant changes that have enhanced playability of the course. A high-tech irrigation system was installed throughout the golf course to help the club with its proactive water conservation efforts.

SUMMER MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE

Golf Courses

July 1 – July 14: The Links Course will be closed for regular summer maintenance. This includes aeration and top-dressing of our greens. The course will reopen for play on July 15.

July 15 – August: The Estates Course will be closed for regular summer maintenance. This includes aeration and top-dressing, but we have some additional work we want to complete on the Estates Course. We will improve a few tee boxes, add more landscape plantings, and promote turf health as part of maintenance plan. Stay tuned for our reopening announcement date later this summer.

Practice Range

We have closed our Practice Range this summer for an important grassing maintenance project. We have sprigged the landing areas with the same TifTuf Bermuda grass that we use on the golf course. Depending on summer weather conditions, it will take 90 days for this to grow in properly.

With a good monsoon season and adequate humidity benefiting growing conditions, we hope to reopen the Practice Range in early September.
